They are also known as stereophones, headsets or, colloquially cans.

  • Headphones is the self-titled debut album by Headphones. The album features David Bazan on keyboards, and Frank Lenz (of Starflyer 59) on drums. Tim Walsh (formerly of Pedro the Lion) also contributed to the recording, albeit sparsely, as Bazan attested in November 2006: . . .

Diamond Telecommander and Turtle Beach Rio

Diamond Telecommander and Turtle Beach Rio

Another awesome pair of cards from my Pentium 133 "dream machine" built in 1996. The lower card is a Diamond Multimedia Telecommander 2500XL. It's a 14.4 kBaud modem with voice and fax capabilities. It also had a connector to hang the Turtle Beach Rio (top card) from. The Rio had the best wavetable MIDI sound I've ever experienced. Alas, without ISA slots on my new motherboard, it couldn't be used any more.

On the Boat to Turtle Beach - Dalyan, Turkey

On the Boat to Turtle Beach - Dalyan, Turkey

Tibet, Queenie and Judith on the boat from Dalyan to Turtle beach. Because it was the off season we had to charter our own boat to get to Tutrle Beach. Normally there are boat taxis (in the summer) to take people there. This was nicer, there were fewer boats on the river and we had a boat to ourselves.
